Love In Action for Street Children

Who We Are

Love In Action for Street Children is a nonprofit organization based in Kitale, Kenya. Founded in 2014 by Raphael Baraka and Tony Maleish, the organization was born out of a desire to care for vulnerable children living on the streets. In 2019, the team expanded with new leadership and expertise, strengthening its vision and impact.

We are registered with the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Gender in Kenya, and rely on the generosity of members, partners, and donors to carry out our mission.

To restore dignity, hope, and opportunity to widows and street children by providing education, shelter, food, and medical support.

What We Do

• Provide education support (school fees, uniforms, mentorship).
• Build and repair homes for families and widows, with plans for a children's home.
• Run feeding programmes for vulnerable children.
• Supply medical and mobility support (crutches, walking sticks, wheelchairs) to children, widows, and families.
• Partner with youth groups and institutions to expand opportunities.
